5/14/16 - 6/5/16

The senior studio exhibition celebrates the culmination of each artist’s senior project. This year features the work of fourteen Williams College studio art majors:

Aurora Brown, Marc Burnett, Ezequiel Davila, Andrea Estrada Bianchi, Mei Kazama, Angelina Lin, Jonas Luebbers, Winnie Ma, Julia Matejcek, Katherine Mooney, Clover Powell, Stephanie Sun, Brian Trelegan, and Kelly Wang.

The Class of 2016 has worked in a wide variety of media including paint, digital photography, stop motion animation, drawing, video, sculpture, sound, programming and collage, as well as the intersections of some of these media. They investigate a range of themes that ask questions regarding the body, its representations and markers of identity, the relationship between technology and nature, and how to reckon with fragmentation and narrative. They utilize repetition, distortion, humor, improvisation and chance, patterns, and objects as ways to explore the themes in their work.
