When thinking back to my time at Williams, rather than any work of art in particular at WCMA, it is the space of WCMA itself that left an impression. One of the things that remains with me most from the museum is the art on the wall of the stairway.

Jamali-Kamali: A Tale of Passion in Mughal India by Karen Chase, a literary tale of two potential lovers in 16th century India, is being celebrated this weekend, Sunday, September 18th at the Dream Away Lodge in Becket, Massachusetts. Weaving through oral traditions, and glancing in between traditionally rich text, Lenox writer, Karen Chase, envisions a love connection between Sufi poet Jamali, and Kamali.
