We have recently digitized and added over 7,350 exhibition and program images to our database. These images range in date from 1942 to 2005 and represent over 350 different exhibitions and over fifteen different education and curatorial related programs.
Included in this statistic are 311 installation images from 23 different Prendergast exhibitions ranging from the 1983 exhibition, The Art of Maurice and Charles Prendergast, to the 2004 exhibit, Charles Prendergast and Persian Painting.
The digitization of the installation images began this past summer with the help of a Williams College intern who organized slides and transparencies to be sent to ScanCafé, an online preservation company.
The original slides have now been returned and the digital images uploaded to our asset management database, Image Folio. Over 800 of these images will soon be made available to the public through emuseum. In the meantime if you would like to request an image, please contact Eric Shannon at Eric.C.Shannon@williams.edu or Rachel Tassone at Rachel.U.Tassone@williams.edu.
