Publication Studio is an on-demand press that prints, binds, and publishes original works of all kinds.
WCMA’s Rotunda, the site of the College’s original library, is its latest hub. A platform for public and curricular use, Publication Studio brings us together to make books and exchange ideas about the ever-changing notion of the book.
Book Release Party
Monday, Feb 9, 2015
Celebrate the work published at WCMA during the Fall 2014 semester.
Platform for Poets
WCMA and the English Department turn Publication Studio over to prominent poets who direct writing projects, make original publications, and share their work.
Thursday, Mar 12, 2015
Check out the original work resulting from the fall workshops with prominent poets Claudia Rankine and Craig Dworkin. Watch your copy of Dworkin’s An Attempt At Exhausting A Space In Williamstown be made in real time, and pick up your copy of the multi-authored publication, Race in the Life of the Mind. Students will read from their work inspired by Rankine and what she calls the Racial Imaginary, an inquiry into the ways race is created and experienced.
Saturday, April 18, 1–4pm
