All You Can Eat

May 12, 2006 - June 4, 2006

Williams College Museum of Art (WCMA) presents All You Can Eat, the Williams College senior students’ art exhibition that celebrates the culmination of each artist’s work.  The exhibition, which will be on view from May 12 through June 4, 2006, features the work of 16 Williams College art majors and displays the conclusion of four years of their artistic labor.  Each artist is represented by several works, which range from multi-media installations to photography, sculptures, and paintings.  This variety of media and extremely diverse content contribute to a moving and inspiring exhibition. Oil, watercolor, wax, water, wood, and rice paper are but a few of the materials employed to illustrate such themes as identity, birth and death, and the webbing of memory.  The show will open with a reception from 7:30—9:00 pm on Friday, May 12 in the museum’s historic rotunda.  All are invited to attend.

Artists in All You Can Eat include Vanessa Badino, Amelia Beard, Ian Bone, Thomas Brennan, Eliza Davison, Sarah Hack, John Kildahl, Jacob King, Elissa Klein, Alexandra Macdonald, Ines Major, Jake Manley, Payap Pakdeelao, Rachel Selinsky, Carlos Solís, and Christopher Yorke.
