Another new show is up:
Remington’s Bronco Buster: From Art Icon to Pop Icon.
As if you needed another reason to come to WCMA’s Season Premiere Party coming up this Thursday evening.
Well, okay, if you really do need another reason to come to the party, here’s this: We’re having an interdisciplinary gallery talk at 5:30 pm about Landscape and Memory with Williams professors Bernie Rhie and Olga Shevchenko and WCMA’s Deputy Director John Stomberg. Of course co-curators Betty Zimmerberg and Kathryn Price will be there too since the gallery talk focuses on the new Landscapes of the Mind exhibition.
And here’s another reason to come: A reception at 6:30 pm will offer some light fare, fun conversation, and a chance to explore all the new exhibitions that WCMA has on view.
So giddy up already and come over to WCMA this Thursday. Don’t make me promise you mechanical bulls and cowboy hats!
