Holiday Walk and Shopping Event
The Annual Holiday Shopping Event and Williamstown Holiday Walk 2011
This year’s shopping event hosted by the Williams College Museum Shop was well attended and a success. Despite the continuing bad news of the nation’s economy, sales were up from the previous year, as shoppers were eager to find deals on original merchandise, and clearly enjoyed the experience of skipping the mall and shopping small. Area artisans were available in the afternoon with their fun and unusual handmade wares, giving shoppers even more to choose from. All proceeds from the sale support the exhibitions and programs of the museum.

The Holiday Walk parade was also well attended and the weather was beautiful.
