Fun at the Debate Society Social

Crowd on the Patio for the Debate Society Social

Thank you to the Debate Society, creators of the 1950s suburban thriller Blood Play, for a great time on the WCMA patio last night. Visitors were treated to show inspired drinks, hors d’ oeuvres and old fashioned entertainment. The safety pin game was a hit and I think the potato race will be making a comeback!

The audience also had the opportunity to create a dramatic monologue about a work of art on view in the museum, which the actors read aloud. Here are a couple of our favorite monologues.

The Debate Society’s production Blood Play is at the Williamstown Theatre Festival on the Nikos Stage through Sunday, August 18, 2013.
